General Liabilities and Limitations
- We welcome you to Yogajour and are here to listen and respond to any questions or concerns that may arise whilst attending yoga sessions.
- We believe that it is our mutual responsibility to be transparent about any circumstances or issues that may affect our yoga teaching or practise.
- The teacher is equally responsible for asking about and remembering students’ ailments and injuries, as well as the students informing the teacher if they feel unwell at any point before, during or after the lesson.
- The student is agreeing to accept that there are certain risks including physical and mental, involved in practising yoga and it is the students’ responsibility to understand that they should always stay within the body’s limits and the teacher cannot accept liability for personal injury related to either online or in studio classes.
- Teachers are well qualified and trained to be responsive to students’ needs by either using the appropriate equipment in class or in extreme cases, by referring the student to a more senior teacher with extensive experience of yoga therapy.
- These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our services, including in-studio and online classes, workshops, retreats, and any other services provided by the Studio. By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.
- The Studio reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
- General Conduct
1.1. Mobile phones and all electronic devices should be turned off or set to silent mode during classes.
1.2. Yogajour reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who does not comply with reasonable behaviour or engages in inappropriate, disruptive or aggressive behaviour.
- Class Booking, Cancellations and Refunds
2.1. Class bookings are made online and must be paid in full prior to class. Students cannot attend if they have not paid in advance.
2.2. Cancellations can be made up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled class.
2.3. Refunds are only given if students’ cancel within the 24 hour notice period. Yogajour will respond with a refund within 48 hours of cancellation.
2.4. Class packages and memberships are non-transferable and must be used within the specified validity period.
2.5 Yogajour will refund students if there is a technical problem with Yogajour’s internet connection or hardware that affects the delivery of the lesson and the student misses more than 75% of the lesson.
- Health and Safety
3.1. Students must inform the instructor of any injuries, illnesses, or conditions before, during or after the class.
3.2. The Studio is not responsible for any injuries sustained during classes or while on Studio premises.
3.3. Students must adhere to all health and safety guidelines provided by Yogajour.
- Online
4.1. Access to online classes is provided through our website or a third-party platform.
4.2. Clients must have a reliable internet connection and appropriate technology to access online classes.
4.3. Students should have a clear camera angle so the teacher can see the whole body and students should be willing to adapt their camera when asked.
4.4. Yogajour is not liable for any technical issues or interruptions in service that may occur during online classes and refunds will not be given in the case of technical failure on the students’ end
- Registration and Account Security
5.1. Students must create an account to access Yogajour services.
2.2. Students are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account information and for all activities that occur under their account.
- Intellectual Property
6.1. All content provided in online classes, including videos, audio, and written material, is the property of the Studio and is protected by copyright law.
6.2. Clients may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the content without express written permission from the Studio.
- Privacy
7.1. The Studio is committed to protecting your privacy. Information is stored in accordance to GDPR legislation. Personal information is not sold or given to any 3rd parties.
